Toledo 2010

not far from the hotel.

this is pretty much how toledo looks like. Everything is made out of bricks.

Enjoying the sun.

Plaza de Zocodover is the central.

a beautiful passage.

Cathedral.

Is toledo famous for leather? (Need to look into that more!)

A beautiful corner in toledo.

The Mini Train.

A very beautiful view.

The Swords. Toledo's famous for its swords.

The statue behind represented a Jewish (princess if I recall correctly) who married the Muslim King/Prince.

The View of Toledo. Very very very beautiful.

Toledo was one of the nicest Spanish cities. It's not that far from Madrid (1.5 hours of train ride!) It's very small... but there are so many things to see. The houses/hotels are made out of bricks, which make the entire city looks unique! The one thing I did not like about Toledo was that you might go up and down the hills as you sight see because the land is not flat. So, my Grandmother had to walk very slowly to go up the hills... and Do Not Wear High Heels!

There is this train that you could take form the central. It was not that expensie. It takes you around the city. But, I didn't really like it cause the train did not stop and we wanted to take pictures in the places that we passed by the train. But taking the train might be a good idea if you are travelling with children (so they dont whine of being tired) and with eldelries.
